Bit of good news for parents and students from Hollywoodrath and Tyrrelstown attending Eiru Community College. The Dept Education has agreed to provide a school bus from Hollywoodrath to Eiru. I'm clarifying when it will commence. Thanks to the parents who have engaged with me on this.

⁉️Just 3 bus shelters built in all of Dublin in 2025? I was a bit taken aback by the Taoiseach's dismissal of my question to him today about his Govt's delivery of bus infrastructure - have a listen here. This Govt's deprioritising of public transport - against all evidence - is apparent again.

⁉️Mandatory helmets on bikes⁉️ I welcome the Tánaiste’s reassurance that new laws will not make cycling without a helmet a crime. It had been reported yesterday that under new laws banning the use of scrambler bikes, it would also be a crime to cycle a bicycle without wearing a hi-vis and a helmet.

So Irish Rail now has to issue 750 compulsory purchase orders to keep the DART+ South West project alive despite no funding commitment from the government. What a mess and it's entirely of this government's making.

Further delays on the rollout of BusConnects - here's an update about the long-awaited Blanchardstown - Dublin Airport route. The deprioritising of public transport by this Govt is having a knock-on effect on the delivery of promised bus routes all over the country - just when we need them most.
