I don't know exactly what the mechanism would be but if a site hasn't been paying the vacant or derelict sites levy then it shouldn't be eligible for the vacant or derelict homes grant. It's either vacant or it's not 🤷‍♀️

Sadly the home on the right has been empty since at least 2009, 17 yrs based on Google maps In such a lovely part of Cork city near the Lough, its been wasted for far too long, we clearly need to move quicker in turning vacant/derelict houses back into homes Everyone should have a home #speirghorm

2 houses compulsory purchased by Cork city council in 2017/18, only now being refurbished Great to see them coming back as homes but surely bringing vacant/derelict back into use should be far far quicker It is a housing crisis after all #DerelictIreland
