GOD being ill is boring. Any recommendations pls. Iâve already read two excellent chicklitty type novels, watched Amadeus on Netflix and Katherine Ryanâs new stand up: thatâs the level - I want high quality/entertaining but not too heavy or concentratey cos head feels like itâs in a jar of water.

Have finally had to concede defeat to this coldy-fluey-sickness bug thing. Was the last person in London who hadnât had it and now itâs well and truly got me. Terrible timing as not well enough to present on lbc later or for blues gig in Essex tomorrow đŤđŤ. Now to take to my bed like Austen heroine.

The Times appears to be ambivalent about whether to go after rapists - there might not be space in prison for them. Scratch a transphobe and a misogynist bleeds.

Labour does so badly in this poll mainly because, as the tables show, they lose 29% of their 2024 vote to the Lib Dems and Greens. Only 8% goes to Reform, just ahead of the 6% to the Cons. Those LabâCon switchers push the Tories over 20%, despite them losing a quarter of their 2024 vote to Reform.

Will never not enjoy the speech where Hugh Grant tells the US President to do one, though, even if that is inspired by him having the horn for definitely-not-in-any-way-fat Natalie.

My Mum did her annual traditional forcing me to watch Love Actually last night. The more time goes by, the more it watches like an incelâs paranoid fantasy whereby ânice guysâ feel entitled to have sex with women theyâve never spoken to. Also about 1/3 of the film is characters being fat shamed.

Of course am totally in favour of any steps the government can take to reduce VAWG. Thereâs something about them saying they want to âhalve it in ten yearsâ though that doesnât sit right. Iâm not entirely sure why it bothers meâŚ. But it does. Anyone else?

Apparently, no one in media can get hold of anyone from Reform for comment on Nathan Gill, their dismal performance in local councils or Farageâs alleged conduct at school. They appear to be practising a technique which attempts to silence criticism by refusing to provide a right of reply.
