Y'know, one problem I find with Bluesky is that if you're doing any kinda long threads, it requires folks to keep clicking through "Show more replies" and it seems like there's a drop-off in engage the longer a thread goes on, which is annoying. So, upcoming games! Start here and work backwards:

If the wealthy can get you thinking about who deserves basic needs and who doesn't, they win. They don't care if you think wealthy people are the ones who don't deserve; establishing that it must be earned is the key. With that done, they can just keep expanding the definition of "undeserving."

Without an option for gender affirmative care, these NHS services for transgender children are nothing but conversion therapy centres. The NHS is now a TERF organisation which denies the existence of transgender children at a time when the evidence of their existence has never been more apparent

So NHS England have confirmed they will not provide trans kids with gender affirming medications. What then is the point in the service? Self-med or services like Anne Health are the only safe option for trans kids. NHS England's gender services for young people are conversion therapy farms.

Actually, yeah. That the media is pulling this response is likely to be good for the Greens, not least because Reform were pretending to be the "Party that will upset the status quo" but they've since taken on board Tories whilst the Greens have *actually upset the status quo*!

Hannah Spencer's Guardian op ed is pretty inoffensive. Can Labour MPs really not take such mild criticism? You worked as a management consultant for PWC before you became an MP on 30% of the vote - yes, it's probably likely that you're a bit out of touch lol

There's this myth that non-voters are just as aware of and engaged with current events as voters are and that they just haven't found the candidate that inspires them and no, that's not true at all, it's usually that they don't know anything about politics at all, which is the entire challenge.

The ban is right. I question where else repeated offending attracts mitigation like this. “Exceptional hardship” is lived daily by crash victims and bereaved families. My sympathy will always be with them—not the habitual road offender. Should we remove this provision?
