This makes me think about how so often people go into the show thinking their jobs (e.g., police, psychologist, magician etc.) will help them find traitors, when it wasn't until the celeb series that we actually saw useful careers: people who have worked in television production

If Maduro is in custody my expectation is the admin will try to hold Dumb Nuremberg. They'll make it a judicial referendum on fentanyl and try to blame Maduro for the deaths from the opiate crisis.

Most of the derangement about Mamdani is for the obvious reasons but part of it is also that a surprising amount of people were committed to the Cuomo rehabilitation project because they hated the idea that anything could have consequences for men of the right class.

Most of Labourâs decline in the polls has been a loss of support to parties on its left flank - thatâs not likely to be an outcome driven by listening excessively to vocal and organised interests with a progressive slant

It isn't a real defense because as you must know, despite all these tweets, the whole concept is bullshit. In a society with redistributive taxation like ours, lots of people are net recipients, so lots of immigrants are net recipients. It's tax progressivity analysis reimagined as racial biology.

The law needs to catch up with technology now - because we can't trust these tech companies to police themselves

people using grok to make nudes of people should be in prison. people who create the tech to do it and handwave away the problem as a non-issue (or just ignore it completely) should be rolled down a hill in a barrel, and then put in prison
