Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.

At the Alex Pretti memorial this afternoon, people are unfurling four very large banners. They read, "How many more will ICE murder? How many more funerals? How many more...how many more?"

What's happening in Minnesota is one reason the Reconstruction Amendments banned insurrectionists from holding office. Unfortunately, the originalists on the Supreme Court interpreted the plain language of the amendment to mean its opposite.

His name is Alex Pretti. An ICU nurse and VA worker. He was helping a defenseless woman teargassed by masked goons. He was tackled, disarmed (legal gun owner), pistol whipped, then shot multiple times while on the ground. Witnesses say his last words were: "Are you ok?"

The people who'll tell you today's murder victim in Minnesota shouldn't have turned up to a protest carrying a gun are the same people who said Kyle Rittenhouse was perfectly entitled to do the same thing.

The gun was removed by agents from his waistband - he was never pointing it at them. He was already disarmed when they fired "defensive shots," killing him. They then fired several shots at his lifeless body.

They claim this guy was in possession of a gun and that that was justification for murdering him. And yet Kyle Rittenhouse was just a proud American exercising his 2nd Amendment rights for walking around a protest with a semi-automatic rifle slung around his shoulder.

I think it probably is important to know that this was many outnumbered 9:1 being beaten on the ground before he was shot. Not in a car. Not running. ICE will likely come up with some reason why they were afraid for their lives. But you don't need to watch.

Today at 34 & Park in Minneapolis, a woman tried to drive down the street where a protest had broken out in front of a home ICE was raiding, saying she had a doctor apt to get to. ICE agents busted out her windows, cut off her seatbelt, and pulled her out before arresting her.

Any Democratic votes to fund DHS later this month as Minneapolis is being terrorized by DHS is going to be a major slap in the face to Americans living here. Demand major reforms or shut the government down.
