Extra thoughts - its funny that shades of this game can be seen in future games. Rayman 2's the obvious one, but Rayman 3 definitely took quite a few cues from here (not least the power-up cans that share the same design & sound effect), but there's also a little tiny bit of BG&E in here too

Time is weird! It feels like it goes faster as you get older, sure, but only within a certain timeframe. Beyond a certain point it still feels like eons ago. 2020 feels like it was yesterday, but 2015 was when I got my Wii U and that feels like CENTURIES ago. Whole different lifetime.
