Y'all fuckers failed an open book test THREE TIMES with this man and now that you're scared, you want the inclusion you fought against having so we could center you. Inclusion is bad when it's Black people and pronouns and immigrants but now that you're scared, you need the collective 'we'.

You cannot build community and a coalition with people who are scared in the moment and who, once they feel comfortable again, will abandon you. People who were perfectly fine with the world as it stood until they felt the screws tighten can't be trusted unless they put their own skin in the game.

Writing a comic is not the same as drawing one. Drawing it takes 100x more work, pays like shit and is treated like shit. Artists should be first bill and treated like gods.

I am incredibly lucky and thankful for my syndicated strip which provides the lion's share of my income. Like 80-90%. And then teaching and conventions help pay for everything else that isn't bills. Im also married to a comic shop manager and we split bills 70/30 ~ 60/40. I cook, he cleans.
