probably my most annoying artist bullshit thing I say is that Good Girl Laika is not about the actual Laika. I think this is addressed several times in the comic but it is also an unavoidable part of having a dog in space named Laika, but then saying "not that Laika" is annoying. I'm sorry.

fun reminder: the reason why they make these fucking pointless "live action" remakes is because since it's "live action", the animation is considered "vfx" and not character animation, so they can pay these non-unionized satellite studios fuck-all and make a cool few million for essentially nothing

It is tax season and I'm all about professional transparency in the industry so... I made a total of $16,077 last year between freelancing, comics and other art, and teaching as a college adjunct. I worked a total of 2541 hours. That means I made $6.33/hour.
