With everything, I’d almost forgotten to feel angry and sad about when I was pregnant and in pain and under constant scrutiny and judgement. Got me! Back to being angry and sad about that, too! Add it to the list! (Neurodivergence is beautiful and pregnant people can take acetaminophen, ya dopes!)

This is it, everyone. The final 24 hours are here! The Space Bunny Kickstarter ends tomorrow and still needs a lot of help to hit it's goal. Be apart of history and help us bring this comic to life. Do it for the kids. Do it for Space Bunny.

Three days until the release of Sugar Shack! This is the 3rd graphic novel in my middle-grade Peapod Farm series, which is about stepsiblings on a farm, and includes stories about growing, harvesting and supplying food! My own kiddo says it’s the best one yet. 🍓 🍄🟫 🍁 🍎 🫛

I come out to my mam’s house in the Hudson Valley (fruit paradise) every summer for 5 weeks (fruit time) and spend it being in nature and my farmy homeland (acquiring and processing fruit). This sees me through my pathetically fruitless winters.

Mam’s neighbor spotted me crouching in the wineberry bush and told me to come over and take some of her abundance of golden plums and some beets off her hands. This is the best time and place to be a fruit raccoon.

We had a beautiful ride up to Ravinia yesterday for Weird Al, and as soon as we arrived, my partner said “We’ve had such good luck with weather at this venue!” So, I’m sorry to the thousands of concertgoers for dooming you to the flooding lightning storm chaos of hubris.

Here’s a painting I did of my kid, which came out with them looking much older than they are in real life, despite working with a photo for reference. I think because I was in my mom-feels about them growing up fast during their birthday week when I painted it. So this is my 9yr old as a 13yr old.

My computer is old and crashes every 2 hours, so trying to finish/edit a picture book is taking for-ev-errrr. I hate buying new tech because of the waste and garbage, so I’m just in this hate spiral! Drew this whilst waiting for it to reboot from a crash (a process that takes a full half hour).
