Yesterday, on a holiday where kids go door to door connecting with their community, my sweet town was terrorized by government-backed thugs. Our schools locked down. We patrolled the streets, warning vulnerable people to stay inside. Helicopters circled incessantly. ICE get out.

A French bakery just opened a block away from the existing French bakery in our town, and if anyone knows the details of what is obviously extremely riveting pastry drama, I will pay.

With everything, I’d almost forgotten to feel angry and sad about when I was pregnant and in pain and under constant scrutiny and judgement. Got me! Back to being angry and sad about that, too! Add it to the list! (Neurodivergence is beautiful and pregnant people can take acetaminophen, ya dopes!)
