I donāt think most politicians and people in public health are fully understanding the amount of anger building up towards anti-vaxxers, especially among the parents of infants and small children.

You all have to stop pretending people are protecting Bill Clinton. Youāre playing the magat game where you attack Clinton and accuse peope of protecting him in order to distract us. Thereās an actual, proven child rapist we can attack. His name is Trump. Snap out of it.

The solution is obvious, a constitutional amendment to elect the AG separately. Or at least, that's more likely than a depoliticized DOJ going forward under the next GOP president.

Decades of Twitter have made children terse with their jokes, mindful of character count limits. They no longer laboriously say "Why was six afraid of seven?". They quickly convey the important parts, "six seven".

there's a weird feedback loop where the media's reaction to kirk's death pushes you to speak more ill of the dead than you otherwise would because it's the only reasonable response to the simpering praise they're heaping on him

The conservative movement has turned against reality on every scientific issue of our time, from gun violence to climate change to epidemiology. If campuses are ideologically homogenous, it's not because academia has ostracized conservatives. It's because conservatives have ostracized academia.

Blue/Purple/Red states that believe in science have to have their State Health Departments work together (or with Canada/EU) to create a CDC/FDA like agency that can define annual flu vaccine protocol for a large population to encourage vaccine makers and have rapid disease response capabilities.
