NEW Posthumous pardons in England are less about forgiving the offender and their crime, but about the state trying to forgive itself for horrific mistakes. Pardons should be for the living too. By me, at

The planned meeting between Rhun ap Iorwerth and Keir Starmer will not take place in June as originally planned. The pair had been planning to meet to discuss potential constitutional changes for Wales. I understand that the Welsh Gov put forward several dates but the PM was unable to make them.

And this is what pisses me off about Welsh media. Instead of explaining why Welsh Govt is supporting projects globally that will have a greater impact on climate change than simply planting more trees in Wales, they're chasing clicks and views on social media to make a quick buck.

Some real make-or-break qualities here If Labour's most popular figure can't win a by-election on his home turf (where's he extra popular) on an anti-Starmer platform, where can they win? If Reform can be squashed out in very favourable territory, really questions their electoral credibility.

Unlike in Scotland, this is particularly bad for Welsh democracy because there’s no dominant Wales-centred English language media. As such anglophone Welsh voters get the London and England-dominated political news. Welsh language media is much better on clarifying Wales v UK matters.
