For those who don't speak law: SDNY lawyers just discovered their clients (ICE's lawyers) have been lying to them for over a year. When that happens, you tell the court as fast as possible: lawyers have a "duty of candor" to the court.

I am extremely not a fan of the product liability theory of social media lawsuits because they set a terrible precedent that any safety research or experimentation creates liability; in a perverse incentive it means sites are better off *not* researching safety improvements --

Here's the thing. I understand the jury's decision today. I understand the folks celebrating the verdict too. I have so much personal disdain for Google and Meta. They are actively undermining our democracy, and selling out our privacy and speech for the bestest billionaire award from Trump.
