something I respect in any kind of entertainer — performer, artist, etc — is a small but significant disdain for one's audience. @roryblank.bsky.social and I were talking about this the other night — too much #content these days is made with a obvious desperation to be liked, and it's cloying.

Think it's important to note that Unbound is still dicking over their (former) authors. Don't pay them, buy from places that are actually paying the authors!
