I am having a surprisingly hard time playing Cairn with the patience it asks for (an existential crisis? *Me*?) but every night I get to set up my little tent and do my little camp chores, and it's a reminder that I can always try to do better the next day

Cairn is just absurdly good. Going to be up there in emotional impact with Journey, I can already tell. If you're looking for a a challenging, but weirdly slow, game with a lot of heart, then play this. It's also gorgeous.
