Leftover in #Hylics 2's beta is an early version of the player character with quite a few differences from the final release player character. Most notably this version of the player having the ability to shoot projectiles in place of the glove slap mechanic the final version has. -💀

#Hylics 1 had a scrapped party member! An old gif from Mason's Tumblr features the "boxhead" NPC as part of the party. There's also an unused overworld sprite for them, a trait only shared by party members. Boxhead was replaced by Somsnosa around September of 2014. -🌸

#Hylics 2's beta has a few maps left unused in its files, one of which goes by the name "Cliff House." This maps purpose was likely to test out the style for Hylics in a 3D setting. Because of that, this is probably one of the earliest maps made for the game. -💀
