If this had been proposed at the outset, it would have resulted in a major advocacy campaign that likely would have resulted in a design change. But it was done well after the ribbon was cut on the project, with little recourse for the actual people who use the facility.

The NPS needs to be consistent and seek to remove the 4 wheeled motor driven non-historic elements littering the streets of Pioneer Square or they need to be told to go pound sand.

1/ Much to criticize about Danny's analysis. But instead I'll focus on a useful observation: "The passage of federal tax cuts for the wealthy in 2025 β¦ changed the debate among the local rich" More importantly, what the Trump tax cuts did was create the *fiscal space* for states to raise taxes. β¦

A pregnant mother was killed while riding an ebike after sunset (in an area where LA removed a bike lane bc drivers got mad). The LAT story comments were all about how she deserved it for riding after dark. We marched in the 80s to "take back the night" so women can exist in public after dark

I think there's probably a generational gap when it comes to the discourse about whether the Link signage should say "To Seattle" or not. Younger people that always use their phones to navigate don't understand that many people a bit older navigate more by memory.

Really appreciate our electeds who took the time to tour the Rainier side of the new Judkins Park light rail today. There's still work to do to make this a safe and comfortable place for people to walk, roll, ride & live and it's going to take all of us pushing and dreaming of something better!
