After a neighbor was hit by a driver and sent to the hospital at 35th and Alaska these cones appeared creating extra space for people crossing at the intersection. Today SDOT removed the cones without making any changes to the intersection.

I know it's gauche to acknowledge this as an advocate, but you really cannot work with the current council. They are openly hostile to change and will not actually work with you in good faith.

On my bike ride today these scooter riders shared the road safely and pleasantly with all other road users, unlike the driver that almost right hooked me at speed when they turned suddenly from Dearborn into an alleyway across the bike lane without looking.
