This month, I have bought two people Light Rains Sometimes Fall by @levparikian.bsky.social – they both got their birthday gift early so they could start reading it on time. A recent family portrait commissioned by a family who are really into wildlife photography, often visiting Yellowstone. They sent me a bunch of their beautiful photographs from the reserve and I incorporated the animals in those photos into the piece.

Yesterday it was cows using tools, today its penguins using satellite imagery.

On the 'Merrily' pro-shot: I'd probably be delighted with it if I'd also seen the Broadway show. But as I hadn't, I'd prefer more wide shots, especially of the ensemble pieces. That said, the close-ups of the main characters gave me depth I hadn't got from seeing stage performances. So I loved it.
