I had to order a new wheelie bin, but the council were out of stock. I moaned (cheerfully) to the regular binman. An hour or so later, a bin, clearly pre-owned, presumably by someone roughly half an hour away, turned up in my garden. I feel bad, but not bad enough to ask questions...

Liverpool Council asked everyone to put food waste into bio-degradable bags and then into the green wheelie bin (for which you pay a yearly fee, btw). Like a good boy, I did. Now they've suspended Green bin collections until February. Purple bin then. 🙄 The word 'brewery' springs to mind.

we tried to get a new wheelie bin when we moved in here it's cracked on the front near the lift bar, and the 11-alarm-house-fire prior owner had dumped paint all over it they sent a dude with a trailer full of wheelie bin parts he replaced the lid 😒 still going 3y later so I guess he was right 🤷

One of the overflowing #recycling alley bin sets on the north side of the 1200 block W Broadway, in #Vancouver Fairview. For 2nd or 3rd week a Waste Management collection truck driver has missed this alley block! WM collects under contract to RecycleBC, with contract expiring in May, I believe.
