If the law is poorly written, why isn’t the Government updating it to reflect the intentions of the original Act? Transphobia reflects very badly on all those who permit it.

That's your view, is it Andy? Because it's incoherent. There is no way to implement the SC ruling and the new EHRC guidance without further marginalising an already marginalised community because that's what the ruling and guidance are for, to push trans people further out of public life.

After transitioning more than 20 years ago, never once having a problem in a public toilet in any of the 15+ countries I have visited or lived in since, it really is jarring to have the government encourage my total removal from public life. But I will not change how I live at all.
