The idea that the judiciary is apolitical based on the fact that they don't speak on political matters is one of the fig leaves of the British establishment. It allows them to historically and contemporaneously make political judgements while those behind them can be protected from some of it.

Extraordinarily response from the EHRC to our letter asking whether they were using AI to process consultation responses: "It is not for your client to question the manner in which that process is being conducted while the process is ongoing." Obviously we won't let it drop.

That's if any are willing to be involved at all for the EHRC, for the sake of their reputations. Here-today-gone-tomorrow politicians are transient but a lifetime reputation is forever. EHRC has already admitted its view that trans people dont have Article 8 human rights was... oops.

The GRA and Equality Act do not need amending - the problem Is that the Supreme Court’s judgement does not align with Parliament’s intention in passing these laws (nor with the ECHR judgement in the case of Goodwin-v-UK).

IMPORTANT I’ve heard EHRC consultation responses will likely be outsourced to a company that will use AI to read them. So, whilst using templates is convenient and less stressful, responses must be sufficiently individual to not be considered mass produced or copies, or they won’t be counted.
