On underestimates: - The threshold for suicide in children is high (death by misadventure or self harm not suicide). - Children who die under age 10 are not recorded - Trans kids are often not recorded as such due to 'parental shame', coroner censure or simply lack of knowledge of them being Trans

Interesting how even now, in the US, courts are protecting trans children's healthcare data privacy rights. In the UK, trans children's Sussex GP data was forcibly handed over to NHS England late last year. & the law changed to force access to the data of 9,000 adults who were children at GIDS.

I recall a conversation back in 2016 with a speech psychologist studying hearing. There are well studied (but not well understood) differences in hearing between genders. She found that the hearing profiles of Trans women correspond to Cis women and Trans men to Cis men.

The article also evidences the benefits of affirmative healthcare provision. All interviewees had positive experiences of affirmative GP-led care at WellBN in Brighton. That service has been consistently attacked by NHS England & Sussex ICB for providing affirmative care. 3/4
