Making porn art is a sign of a happy little critter, to me, like when rats giggle. Its not something to be afraid of, no matter the content. I feel assuming the worst about people based on the porn art they make is so pessimistic and fearful towards humanity. Have a little curiosity, as a treat!

Implying or pushing for any art to be illegal will force survivors to out themselves. It will force creators writing educational things in subversive ways into legal trouble or bans (at best). It will remove the most realistic stories about trauma. Not to mention harming queer & disabled people too.

The more non-exploitative content that gets reported, censored, and filtered, the harder it is to locate and help actual child (and adult) victims. And here’s the hard truth. That’s what fascists want. Abuse and trafficking are literally tools of power that our world *thrives* on. They exploit.

If we call art, no matter how gross, CSAM, then it removes power from actual survivor-victims. That is *our* term. That is what we went through. Uncomfortable art, no matter the intent is *not* the same. No one was traumatized to make that image. It’s like how “triggered” was taken away from PTSD.

But what about drawing “child porn”? Personally, ick. But censorship? Still no. It’s fiction. And calling it “child porn” does a disservice to every survivor. First of all, that’s a terrible term. It’s CSAM. But second, CSAM involves *actual* children. (Con’t)

It’s doing my head in… how would you even get the consent if a fictional character for vanilla missionary sex!? You can’t!

I think the other important distinction is that something can be arousing in fiction that would never arouse a person in real life. And censorship is never going to stop sexual predators anyway. Sexual predators don’t care about rules or laws.
