Not once, in all my time on Twitter, did I come across a 'gender critical' activist who made me think, 'maybe I have this wrong?' In fact, watching people like Graham Linehan slide further and further into Right Wing and Far Right ideology confirmed that they are the ideologues.

The final episode of The Good Place absolutely knocks it out of the park, with powerful and poignant resolutions for all the characters - and was very helpful to my mother, who was nearing the end of her life though terminal cancer at the time. (FWIW, I really liked the Stranger Things finale)

Two years in a row, I've found out at the last minute that I don't actually have trains home for Christmas booked, due to the excessive number of "click to book" buttons on the Train Line website.

For Marvel, it's unoriginal but I have to say Wiccan and Hulking - though I really hope that
@meakoopa.bsky.social
gets to write more of the Kid Juggernaut/Captain America/Mysteriant throuple. At DC, I loved the Jon Kent/Jay Nakamura relationship. I understand why it ended, but it was a sad time.

"Whit" is semi-fossilized in phrases like "I don't give a whit," but it's also lurking in "naught" and "naughty." In Old English, the word for "nothing" was nawiht (na + wiht = "no thing" or "no amount"). (Wiht was used in the same general way we would use "thing" today. More on that in a sec.)

While the Divorced Sitcom Writer continues on his decade-long tantrum that nobody wants to work with him & listen to his bile any more, Robin Ince voluntarily resigns with dignity from his show because he wouldn't just be quiet in his support of marginalised people. What a world.

Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

To absolutely nobodyโs surprise, Nestlฤ products contain such poor quality ingredients that they can no longer be legally termed โchocolateโ. The company is claiming it canโt afford to pay the going rate for cocoa and for milk, despite making a profit of $49b last year.

British culture has normalised genderfluidity for literal centuries. We're traditionally obsessed with disrupted sex roles, with drag, with bi-romanticism, with gay transvestite celebrities. So HOW THE HELL DID *WE* END UP AS TERF ISLAND? It's like the Swiss becoming The People Who Resent Chocolate.

Gender criticals: "Listen to women! Unless you're Girlguides or the Women's Institute or you disagree with the male judge who wrote this decision or if you don't 'look like a woman' or if you're a trans man because then you're definitely a man." Everyone will suffer from this madness. Everyone.
