In Copperplate, how does the person holding Aaron captive send the letter to lure Joel to him? Does he ask Aaron to hold the gun on himself for half an hour while he nips out to the post office?

Surely fan fiction is the thing you'd least want to get AI to do for you? The whole point of it is that it's what *you* want to do with those characters. People suck.

Zelensky is a comedian who ran as a joke and ended up fighting a superpower in the bloodiest war since WWII. I hope Count Binface is ready for that responsibility.

I have played several of Ben's RPGs, and they're great. If you want a rich, narrative system, try Rivers and Lakes. If you want a mechanically satisfying alchemy game, try Ring of Changes. And if you want a hilarious game of magical misadventures, try Sorcerer's Symposium.

I was very sad to hear about the death of Justin Richards. His Who novels were always interesting and fun, even if he had a tendency to signpost his big plot twists far too heavily! Two favourites are Tears of the Oracle, a truly beautiful novel, and Whispers of Terror, a great use of audio medium

I don't have an issue with the traditional portrayal of Davros - I don't think he's part of the (very real) trope of Doctor Who villains saying, "Oh no, I've been crippled and/or disfigured, therefore I'm going to be evil now, and probably sexually harass the Doctor's companion" 1/2

Starmer is refusing to allow debate time for the Early Day Motion about the EHRC ‘guidance’, despite it being signed by over 140 MPs. If we get 100,000 signatures on this petition we can force a debate.

This is one of my favourite quick and easy lunches. And it's even better with some garlic lemon prawns on top - just fry some garlic and lemon zest in oil, add some fresh prawns and, once they're pink, add a generous squeeze of lemon juice.

A lot of people are confused by the concept of “cat years" so here's a little guide: 0-1 years - just a little baby 1-3 years - just a little baby 4-9 years - just a little baby 10+ years - just a little baby

I think these bills are fantastic, positive things, I genuinely do. But neither of them have needed Labour to propagate racist, xenophobic and transphobic rhetoric the way that they have.

You know, I appreciate the "Mature content" labels that get put up over the nakeder Bluesky posts, but I really wish they'd split these into "Mature content you'll like, click on this if you're not on the bus!" and "Mature content you won't like, just skip over!"

I finished Tip-Toe today - a grimly brilliant masterpiece. I get the criticisms of all the speechifying, but it justifies it when the thesis of the story is so terrifyingly real. It's horribly apt that the final episodes went out in a week that's seen instances of mob violence across the country.

Same-sex marriage is an instructive analogy here, but not for the reasons Streeting thinks. “Trans women can still use toilets - just not women’s toilets” is just like “gay people can still get married - just not to other men”.

Masters of the Universe was a lot of fun. It worked because it didn't try to pretend the whole premise wasn't massively silly. I wonder if I'd have been as accepting of its shortcomings if I didn't have huge nostalgia for the franchise - but who could say no to Nicholas Galitzine in a loincloth?

english isn't for cowards. if you're not saying 'torpify,' that's a skill issue. there's no Académie Française telling you what to do. if you try to type 'pallific' and freak out when you see a little red underline, maybe you're not ready to roll with the big dogs.
