Just getting some sun while watching my TV. My favorite channel is the Outside World.

My orange boy will help me look for anything if I'm talking to him while we do it, especially his kid sister.

While the news cycle screams, two rescue labs just found a forever home with the Bidens. Boo and Scout don’t care about politics, just tennis balls and dinner time 🐾

Is it that cat's day to monitor the other cat's location?

Yes, we do! I've done this many times with my two girls, asked one of them, "Where's your sister?" Even though they're not related. What's funnier is that whichever one I ask goes looking for the other one.

One of my cats loves to escape and if the other sees him out the window, he will immediately run to us meowing so we can bring the escapee home

This morning - April Fool's Day - my old man Hank couldn't tell me where his (adopted) brother Herbie was b/c Hank had IMPERSONATED Herbie last night which got the cat flap SHUT and Herbie BANISHED for the night!!! Herbie thought he deserved it and was just happy to be allowed back in this morning.

Years back, when my cats were allowed outside, I asked my cat to go get the cat that was temporarily staying with us. She went off and came back a few minutes later with the other cat.

The other night, couldn’t find one cat so asked cat #2 Cat #2 sat in front of the door leading to the garage and meowed “he’s in there” Sure enough, Cat #1 was accidentally locked in the garage Not the first time, I have asked for location help and was given the correct location

I do the same with my 2 dogs. When one comes inside without the other: "where's Ollie/Delilah?"

True however - one of our cats got out into the garage and the other refused to leave the door from the house into the garage! Ginger knew Cupcake was not supposed to be out there. It took my husband an HOUR to catch the little bugger, but we are grateful it was pointed out to us.

Yep… and if I’m like “where is your brother is he locked in the basement/porch?” The other 2 are like… no idea lady…. Bc they enjoy not having their purrsonal space encroached by him… he’s a fungus

They always take the 5th when you ask that question at treat time because they know it means more for them. 🤣 This is why they're the superior beings in our relationships with them. 😇 Gosh, I love them!! ❤️

My first cat was a very good communicator and she would come get me to fill the water bowl for my other cat who was thirsty. So, the ginger would tell the calico to tell the hooman to get more water, lol

I leave my cat food bowls filled. This is what one of my cats looks like. The other one is antisocial, but also satisfied.

Long ago, exactly 1 cat passed away from being fed 2 minutes late & cats have told their children of this for thousands of generations.

Just a reminder to buy all kinds of books for your kids...weird ones, new ones, old ones, debuts etc. That popular series they love is great, and it probably began as a single book which took off. With cool imprints closing, we need to bring in more voices, more ideas, more variety.
