Thank you to everyone who came to the eagle release yesterday! 🦅 A few months ago, this eagle was found dangling from a tree, tangled in fishing line. LCAS HLEOs were able to free it, and thanks to Blue Ridge Wildlife Center and Kristi's Wildlife Rehabilitation care, the eagle made a full recovery!

Humane Law Enforcement Officer Hernandez received a call last night about an eagle in quite the pickle. The eagle was completely suspended in the air, tangled up in fishing line. Officer Hernandez called in Chief Brosan for assistance and to bring additional tools needed to reach the eagle.
