The US government will never do an explosive nuclear test again at the Nevada Test Site. They have built an immense underground laboratory, costing billions of dollars. It contains particle accelerators and lasers that will not fare well with the shaking that comes with nuclear tests.

The warning for an M5.9 earthquake near Dayton, NV this morning was an incorrect alert issued by the USGS ShakeAlert program. None of the stations in the Nevada Seismological Laboratory network detected any large earthquakes in Nevada this morning.

The attacks on trans rights, which are basic human rights, are a terrible injustice and an attack on truth and fact as well. Everyone should be deeply alarmed and it should be disqualifying for a politician to support such discrimination.

This composition had eluded me for nearly a decade, but yesterday I was finally able to capture it. A train rolled through just as the Duquesne Incline was crossing over the tracks in #Pittsburgh, creating a picture perfect winter scene. It was worth the hours and hours I've waited over the years.
