Lawyers can tell me if I'm wrong, but I think this is SCOTUS basically telling Trump that the First Circuit has to finish its work before anything else happens.

I cannot tell you how tired I am of the argument that not allowing the executive to do whatever it wants is somehow irreparable harm. I can only hope this is the first time that SCOTUS doesn’t agree with them in the last 9 months.
