So, yet *another* unnecessary by-election being misused to boost a vain, thin-skinned man desperate to avoid real scrutiny. This is not a serious country.

A bid for sympathy by claiming the media's going after his family? Or maybe he's jumping before he's pushed? Even if it is the latter, I wouldn't bet against him returning one day - just before the next general election, perhaps. The man's got form, and still has the media hanging on his every word.

The conduct of Farage under minor scrutiny neatly demonstrates the difference between aggression and strength. A generation ago, Tony Benn was treated outrageously by the press and TV but remained polite and respectful throughout. Benn was strong, Farage isn't. (Not comparing their politics BTW)
