Trump started a pointless and illegal war with Iran, he lost it almost immediately, he crushed America's economy and America's partners while making Iran and our rivals much stronger. He did it for no reason he can articulate. In any decent nation, he'd be forced to resign immediately.

i think after midnight hammer it was pretty obvious that trump was hooked on "raiding" as a foreign policy. he's always been terrified of getting entangled the way gwb did, but he's also a stupid bully. so "raids" seem very attractive--

A large majority of violations occurred in outlying neighborhoods rather than Center City, which is considered PPA's core enforcement turf.

Did law enforcement go overboard on an inspection of the only womenβs sports bar in Philadelphia?
Chivonn Anderson said her bar was targeted as a result of unfounded tips of underaged drinking, but Philadelphia police claim the incident was part of a pre-planned compliance check.

Historian of French Revolution here to say that in periods like this, squeamish compromisers do as much to drive radicalization as do ideologues. If you keep making excuses for the unfit king, eventually folks come for you and him.

And they should go much harder, to keep this administration on its heels. Right now, public support is heavily against the invasion, but the White House and their media outlets are going to be pushing the propaganda hard and a lot of their base will rally around Trump again soon.

So much wrong here: 1. There was some new hiring, so this number is off by about 100K 2. Unlike most businesses, personnel spending is a tiny fraction (5-6%) of federal outlays 3. Spending has actually increased 4. Many have noticed worse services!
