The MTA also doesn't have the level of enforcement that, eg, London, another jurisdiction that effectively did away with passes has. TfL will do things like have security officers waiting to pull someone and say "Hello. We noticed you jumped the gate 500 times. See you in court." MTA does not.

the weirdest part of the rise of online dating is that it has created a large set of people who view romantic interactions occurring in any context other than explicitly âi signed up to look for a romantic partnerâ to be weird and creepy *inherently*, because dating is contained to the Apps.

I spoke to the Washington Post for this article. Nobody wants higher car insurance premiums, but let's not lose sight of what they are supposed to cover: the cost of compensating people, especially those outside of a vehicle, for harms caused by the driver.

Why car insurance keeps climbing, and where premiums are highest
Auto coverage has surged 50 percent in the past five years, but calculating a driverâs cost plays out very differently from one state to the next.

Traffic is also a flow problem, which is why circulation planning matters as much as reallocating space in section. It is also why buses can be more "efficient" than bikes; in some cases, they need to get priority over bikes and pedestrians, contrary to what the various transport pyramid suggests.
