What I like best about the Artemis II photos is that it was taken by actual humans. An actual person had to frame it and manually adjust settings. It's their own artistic rendition of what they thought looked best at the time, something no probe, rover or unmanned spacecraft can take. it's art

I know I'm the last one to this party, but I just realized Artemis II flew the same basic mission Apollo 13 flew. Earth orbit, trans-lunar injection burn, then a free trajectory all the way back home. It's just this time we did it on purpose instead of as an emergency contingency.

I think the big obstacle in this approach is that the supreme court helped Trump do all that stuff and will prevent Biden from doing that. The same way courts ordered mask mandates ended early but used the pandemic as justification to force Biden to keep Trump era policies for CBP and ICE in place
