Weird, I’ve taken pictures of people bringing firearms, loaded with multiple magazines to protests outside Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s home and the Minnesota State Capitol.

One of the best organizers I know in the Twin Cities has a great line, "We can't always take away the hurt, but we can take away the alone."

It’s day 54 of the ICE occupation of MSP. We are once again a city in mourning. We are mourning Alex. We are still mourning Renee. And we’re mourning all the neighbors who have been abducted by ICE. We stand shoulder to shoulder with neighbors across the state, saying ICE OUT.

We are observers, not protestors. We show up to document and film the atrocities ICE is committing. Using 5 year olds as bait. Kidnapping senior citizens. Breaking down doors without warrants. Murdering poets and nurses. Media has all of that information because *observers* were there to document it

This is the real story.

ICE says it arrested 10,000 "criminal illegal aliens" in MN but it has only released 240 names of immigrants arrested as of Jan. 19. Of those 240, 80% have felony convictions. Nearly all had served their time and were not actively wanted when they were detained, according to a Star Tribune analysis.
