It’s day 107 of the ICE occupation of MN. Keep your eyes on the courts, where lawyers will be appealing this terrible decision. And keep your eyes on our neighbors in Vermont, LA, Chicago, and more, courageously resisting ICE and protecting their communities. ICE out means EVERYWHERE.

It’s day 106 of the ICE occupation of MN. Although the number of ICE agents here has decreased, we know that ICE is still active here and ramping up in other states. We stand in solidarity with all communities experiencing ICE activity, and with everyone standing up to keep their neighbors safe.

It’s day 105 of the ICE occupation of MN. Today Greg Bovino announced his retirement. We did that, Minnesota. (With thanks to comrades in Chicago and LA who helped show us the way.)

It’s day 104 of the ICE occupation of MN. Today a blizzard gave most of us a brief reprieve from the hyper vigilance. Minnesotans came together for the traditional snowstorm activities of shoveling, snow blowing, and pushing out each other’s stuck cars.

It’s day 103 of the ICE occupation of MN. We are still here, keeping our neighbors safe. Get out there tomorrow to snowblow and shovel for neighbors, move your neighbors cars in the snow emergency, and make sure they are cared for. We’ve built amazing solidarity and community, let’s keep going.

It is day 102 of the ICE occupation of MN. Much of Minnesota is experiencing or expecting heavy snow this weekend - a reminder to check with neighbors in hiding in case they need supplies, and to take care of shoveling sidewalks for them. We keep us safe!

It's day 101 of the ICE occupation of MN. ICE is still here. Today there were multiple abductions just outside Minneapolis, and a persistent ICE presence in downtown. (They were so illegally parked that tow trucks showed up - please enjoy these videos)

It's day 100 of the ICE occupation of MN. For 100 days, this community has done everything in our power to protect and care for our neighbors. And today, Jacob Frey failed to do the bare minimum and give neighbors time to recover and put their lives back together. We'll be 🔗 some 🧵 below.

I know it feels like the day-to-day intensity of the ICE occupation in Minnesota has calmed down, but there are so many lagging problems that need solving, right as people’s attention goes elsewhere. Financial assistance, like help with rent, and legal help for the detained. These horrors persist.

It’s day 95 of the ICE occupation of MN. This weekend, Minneapolis is waiting to see if Jacob Frey will sign the Pause Evictions, Save Lives policy passed by the City Council. The mutual aid fundraising has been enormous, but the needs continue, even as donations have slowed. Call the mayor!

It’s day 94 of the ICE occupation of MN. Today we’re celebrating Jason Chavez, a local hero in the resistance to ICE.

It's day 93 of the ICE occupation of MN. Minnesotans are not generally people who engage in long hugs, but the last 3 months have changed that. The hugs now are long and meaningful, whether between old friends or people who just met responding to ICE calls. Our love for community keeps us safe.

It’s day 92 of the ICE occupation of MN. Today more than 70 neighbors testified to Mpls City Council members - the vast majority of testifiers were in support of extending pre-eviction notice to 60 days. Our neighbors need more time, and we hope the council will vote to approve on Thursday.

It’s day 91 of the ICE occupation of MN. The horrors persist but so do we. As ICE continues to terrorize communities, the threat of evictions continues to loom. Tuesday at 9:30 at Mpls City Hall, neighbors are gathering to say: No Evictions Under Occupation!

It’s day 90 of the ICE occupation of MSP. ICE is still here, terrorizing communities. Today at the Whipple building, HCSO deputies violently assaulted and arrested protesters. Meanwhile, Minnesotans are raising money and paying rent for thousands of our neighbors.

It’s day 89 of the ICE occupation of MN. It may seem as if everyone in MN is furiously raising rent for our neighbors, trying to prevent a massive eviction crisis on top of the federal occupation. That’s because Minnesotans know that we keep each other safe, and no one is coming to save us.

It’s day 88 of the ICE occupation of MSP. The world we are building together is beautiful. Thousands of our neighbors in hiding are having their rent paid by strangers. And many of our rent funds are powered mostly by small donations. Let’s keep our neighbors safe and housed.

It’s day 86 of the ICE occupation of MN. Rent is due on Sunday for thousands of our neighbors who’ve been unable to work for two months. It feels like everyone in the twin cities metro is fundraising for rent for immigrant neighbors, because the need is so high.

It’s day 85 of the ICE occupation of MN. We keep saying it’s not over - and this is why. Despite the messages in press conferences, there are still almost 1000 ICE agents here.

It’s day 77 of the ICE occupation of MSP. This long weekend ICE continued to hit suburban communities hard - ICE is still very present across the metro There are still thousands of ICE agents in Minnesota, and tens of thousands of neighbors ready to stand up. ICE OUT.

It’s day 76 of the ICE occupation of MSP. ICE is still here - we still have vastly more agents on the ground than we did in late November. And those agents are still kidnapping our neighbors and terrorizing neighborhoods. Stay vigilant, and let’s pay rent for March 1 for everyone who needs it.

It’s day 73 of the ICE occupation of MSP. We know that the vigilance, whistles, phones, and community care that thousands of us have practiced over the last 11 weeks are what have led to the ICE retreat announced this morning. But it’s not over yet. ICE OUT has never meant the end of the surge.

It’s day 71 of the ICE occupation of MSP. City council members and PTAs and neighborhoods and businesses are running crowd-funding campaigns to pay rent for our neighbors. It’s February 10, and we’re going to need to do it all again in 18 days. We need an eviction moratorium now. And ICE OUT.

It’s day 70 of the ICE occupation of MSP. ICE continues to terrorize our neighbors, there are still 2,000 agents here, even as the attention of the world has moved on. When we say ICE OUT, we mean ICE out everywhere.
