This turned into a 3,000 whistle day. We sent whistles to school and university communities, neighborhood shops, and block meetings. The outpouring of support for our immigrant neighbors is heartwarming.

We just opened a box of thousands of 3D printed whistles sent to us by comrades from other cities. Thank you, 3D printer friends. We cried. Community care from far and wide.

We're on track for a 2,000 whistle day tomorrow. That's 2,000 MORE neighbors getting whistles to help protect our community. We are overwhelmed in the best way.

This week we are averaging 750-1000 whistles distributed per day- and those are just the ones our volunteers are providing and coordinating. Be safe, form a crowd, and BLOW THOSE WHISTLES.

We are grateful for everyone who has answered a call, shared a tip, joined neighbors to whistle or honk at ICE agents to warn community.

Update from superintendent: "MPRB will fully adhere to and follow Mayor Frey’s Executive Order 2025-02 dealing with Immigration and Customer Enforcement (ICE) presence in our city and prohibit any MPRB parking lot from being used to stage civil immigration enforcement operations."

Twin Cities- it’s been another day with extreme ICE activity in our neighborhoods. Despite the best efforts of rapid response teams, we sometimes got there too late to prevent kidnappings. And we had some successes- multiple kidnapping attempts were prevented by the organizing of neighbors.

Brutal day in Minneapolis, but there were some shining moments of neighbors stopping some abductions, kicking Nazis out of some spaces, chasing them out of others. And there were about 1,000 ppl on an excellent ICE WATCH training zoom led by States At The Center and Protect Rogers Park in Chicago.

Trump's ongoing attacks on the Somali community in the Twin Cities are disgusting, and I'm worried about what comes next. Folks from my whistle crew have already arranged to rush a few thousand whistles up to our friends in MN, but if you're looking for somewhere to channel frustration tonight...

An attempted abduction was stopped this morning by multiple people honking car horns, successfully warning the person and driving off the ICE agents. Use what you’ve got!

Important to see they can be stopped. Wild to wrap our brains around it but this machine stops fascists.

There have been multiple ICE kidnapping in South Minneapolis this morning. If you have the capacity to be a presence outside, watch for out of state vehicles with tinted windows and masked drivers.
