This morning ICE attempted to enter into the Ecuadorian consulate on Central Ave but were barred from entering. I spoke with Ambassador Yanez this afternoon and they want to make sure the Ecuadorian community knows it’s still safe to come to the consulate.

They broke his rib a week before, and he was back out there protecting his neighbors when they murdered him.

Barely a week after an ICE agent shot and killed Renee Good in Minneapolis, federal agents have shot another resident tonight in Hawthorne— adding to the escalating fear in our neighborhoods.

It’s day 44 of the ICE occupation of MSP. Tonight we are watching an ICE standoff with neighbors in North Minneapolis, after an ICE officer shot and wounded (at least) one person. All day, we heard whistles and horns as folks showed up to protect their neighbors. We won’t rest till ICE Out.

ICE just confronted us in our car saying it’s our first & final warning. There’s nothing illegal about driving your car safely on Stinson, Lowry, or any street in our community. They are purposefully surging at school get out times terrorizing our families. Ice needs to stay away from our kids.

It’s Day 42 of the ICE occupation of MSP. Observers were everywhere today- keeping an eye on our neighborhoods and community. Whistles and honking warned vulnerable neighbors, and drew responders to active scenes. And when ICE leaves a block, we hug strangers and check in on each other.

It’s day 41 of the ICE occupation of MSP. This weekend we’ve given away 8,000 whistles. Whistles are a ubiquitous part of daily life now - because an errand as simple as walking down the block is often interrupted by ICE sightings.

It’s day 40 of the ICE occupation of MSP. Today Powderhorn Park was packed with thousands upon thousands of Minnesotans, remembering Renee, and saying ICE OUT of Minnesota. As so many of us were there together, many others were out protecting neighbors, delivering groceries, and giving rides.
