Planning is how I deal with life. Walking to the kitchen with an empty glass and a plate has me working out the order in which I deal with them. When folks ask me to change plans, they are making me deal with an unplanned future, but also removing my current comfort having already planned ahead.

I wrote this poem the day after Renee Good was murdered - it’s about how the media and politicians immediately dehumanised her. I have had a few people ask “who wrote it?” So I am putting it up again - written in anger
