Happy Birthday @smershpod.com , many happy re-runs (it was funny in my head). I can't believe I was oblivious to it for the first 3 years. My most listened to episode is probably either of the Cannon and Ball Runs or North Sea Hijack, but there are so many I've listened to multiple times.

I can't begin to say how much @smershpod.com means to me. For me it began in the dark days of 2020, it was a hilarious review of James Bond and adjacent movies, to what it's become now. @johnrain.co.uk is an oracle of all great (and frankly terrible) movies. There's something here for everyone.

John is one of the best hosts in the business. The JFK episode was the most fun I’ve ever had on a podcast (a niche award I grant you) and it directly led to my next book. I love him and, like Bryan Adams, everything he does, he does for us.

I remember when this guy (whose father was a toolmaker) was just starting out at An Occasional Theme & Sons pro bono (actually he hated Bono) legal sketches. He’s probably not too big for his boots, but his podcast is too big for you not to listen to it. So, listen. Er, to it.

If you don’t like Smersh Pod, there’s the door. 🚪
