Working on a character for Impossible Landscapes. I've learned that I can be 100% serious in making a Delta Green character up until it comes to choosing an Agent Handle. Then it gets silly. Sadly, it's set in 1995 and I can't pay tribute to (rip off) the Laundry Files with a Spice Girl's name.

I got a bit of a "For Your Condideration" care package from Mongoose Publishing. 2300AD uses Traveller rules, but an entirely different setting. Far harder sci-fi (much more The Expanse than Star Wars). Paranoia is... well... that's classified, Citizen. I'm gonna need some bigger shelves.

Sketch Comedy shows aren't as popular as they once were, but they were a huge influence on me. "TTRPGs are just so expensive now" According to the MSRPs printed on my AD&D 2e books - PHB-$20, DMG-$18, MM-$30. That's $68 in 1990 money. Inflation puts that at $170ish in 2025. We now have full-color books. Most RPGs come with PDFs. And all for the same price or less. Stop yelling at clouds.

Opening night of Snyder's DAWN OF THE DEAD was madness. Screaming, cheering, they stopped it at one point and told the theater to settle down. Darth Maul's fight as Duel of the Fates began playing in PHANTOM MENACE. The collective nerdgasm was like being in an old-time tent revival.

We took a break from campfires & stargszing, and held a movie night in the murder cabin. We chose Rough Magic. It wanted to be good. It tried very hard. Then at the 60% mark it said "Fuck it," dropped acid and went bonkers. Watch only with friends and not sober. Repeat: Not a sight for sober eyes!

I will never ever stop sharing the Michael Biehn with an adorable little girl dressed as Ripley. Ever!
