It's always wonderful to chat with @rossbryant.bsky.social, and I think this episode hits just the right balance of fun and informative.

People got pissy with me in in the late-2010s for saying I dislike it when players dump a bunch of backstory on me in the first session, so I made a whole-ass system where, in order to tell your backstory, you have to slowly kill your character over 12-15 sessions.

This is another episode where I feel like we could have chatted for hours without exhausting the topic. I'm looking forward to talking to Matt about it in the next Just One More Thing, as editing the episode left me with a bunch of thoughts.
