It is with shock and genuine sadness that I learn of the passing of my good friend, long time colleage and just a really kind man, Quentin Willson. He will be sorely missed by many who knew and worked with him.

No point denying it, I’m a bit of a Nissan Leaf fanboy. I’ve driven my 1st generation Leaf over 80,000 miles and it’s never had anything resembling a mechanical problem. Incredibly reliable. If this new version is similar, it’s a very long-term vehicle.

I’ve now driven the new Nissan Leaf 100 km and apart from everything else, I never once glanced or even thought about ‘remaining range.’ This car can cover 300 miles/480km more than the gen 1 Leaf.

Today I’m driving the new Nissan Leaf. In Denmark. I was here 14 years ago to drive the 1st gen Leaf. This one goes a bit further.

Recording podcast with Dr Andy Palmer this morning. He was COO of Nissan. He went on to be CEO of Aston Martin Lagonda. He is now very involved in the electrification of transport in the UK and knows a thing or two about electric vehicles, charging and many related topics. Got any questions for him?
