Happening now: an anti-war demonstration is getting underway in Chicago's Federal Plaza, in response to US/Israeli attacks on Iran and Donald Trump's threat to Iran this morning that "a whole civilization will die tonight." A few dozen people here so far.

This is an incredible episode that everyone needs to watch. I think about it often, especially the student who says that there is no war between people, only between governments.

You have more in common with the people of Iran than you do with anyone in this administration, any member of the technocracy, anyone who is profiting from this war, or any billionaire. When you see Iranians forming human chains outside key infrastructure sites, you should feel a sense of kinship.

I’m watching DEATHSTALKER (2025) with commentary by director Steven Kostanski and star Daniel Bernhardt. Bernhardt clearly had a great time making the movie and genuinely loves it. He’s so enthusiastic and it’s really fun listening to him and Kostanski geek out. Definitely worth a listen!
