"ICE is scared by the accountability" Twin Cities resident Joseph Boman was arrested for "stalking and harassing" immigration agents because he believes the federal government is afraid of people seeing the harm raids are inflicting on communities.

Minnesotan Joseph Boman says ICE agents followed him from his home and recorded him the day after Christmas, but the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office arrested HIM for stalking and harassment. Boman is one of many activists who monitor agents on immigration raids.

A protester flips off a federal police officer this morning outside of the federal building ICE is using to coordinate its raids in the Twin Cities area. Protesters have been monitoring the federal building to know when ICE agents are going out on raids.

" We'll fight for the liberation of all people by any f**king means necessary." CAIR Minnesota Executive Director Jaylani Hussein drew a direct connection to progressive struggles dating back to the 1960s in his remarks at today's ICE Out of Minnesota march in Minneapolis.

Today the city of St. Paul, MN, told ICE to cease and desist using city parking lots to stage raids. A lawyer for the city lawyer for the city threatened legal action, saying St. Paul “will not hesitate to enforce those rights in the event that you fail to cease and desist.”

ICE may be attempting to expand its prison outside of Chicago. Tonight, the Broadview, IL, Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a hearing on adding “‘prisons/detention centers’ as a special use” in its office district. Broadview is home to the current ICE detention center.

Right now a flight is being loaded with people abducted by ICE at Minneapolis Airport. An activist there to photograph the plane said the 26+ people loaded on the flight was the most she has seen in six weeks of monitoring flights.

A bus with bars in the windows just left the ICE detention facility in Broadview, Illinois. People were inside.

Broadview’s protest curfew is now in effect. Protests in the village of the ICE facility are not allowed until tomorrow at 9 am. Police just warned protesters that if they attempt to cross the street they will be arrested.

A group of around 100 protesters defied police and entered the protest area outside the Broadview ICE facility more than an hour before protests are allowed to start.

This truly bizarre. The Village of Broadview is one step removed from selling tickets for the right to protest ICE.

Protesters are starting to show up outside of the Broadview ICE facility, but police are making people stay across the street. The village has limited protests to start at 9AM CT.
