I made a demo for a lil website I wanted to build. It's actually really painful to use lmao. I've gone off this raw HTML input thing. Going to make a gui designer. But for now, check out my dog's website

"select all the stop signs to proceed" it says. you happily click through and hit submit but as you release the button you catch a glimpse of one of the tiles. "STORMP". ERROR, screams the captcha. YOU WILL BE DELETED AND RECOMPILED. —everything goes dark

in kindergarten, a wooden cow broke in two, and I knew the teacher would just throw it away if I told her, so I stole it to take it home and glue it. This is my first memory of stealing anything and it was wholly attributable to my surety that The Authorities lacked my craving to Repair Things

We scheduled a big backend change (switching AppView to reading from BGS instead of the PDS) for precisely the same time of the emergency broadcast system test. But we held off on the switch over because we thought The Beep was PagerDuty alerting us of a problem 😆

You had a tweet about Better Call Saul and Star Trek: Picard that I always wish I’d archived because I often quote it but I’m unsure of the exact wording. Any chance you have it saved somewhere? Was in my top 3 tweets of all time so hoping you’ll bring it to Bluesky.

if we're doing Polynesian Dad Trivia I will chip in to mention that Geoff "father of deep learning" Hinton was coauthor on an influential study of polynesian navigators, which talked about how they were able to make transoceanic crossings by using a reference frame anchored to the moving boat

im just gonna pivot from this to tell you my favorite Parent Trivia, which is that Moana is basically a tall tale or a legend about a real event, the Great Pause, when polynesian migration through the pacific stopped for unclear reasons, and you should read On The Road Of The Winds

in 1992 i was walking home from school with Shawn Farrell and he said, titillatedly, "imagine being cross-checked by Cindy Crawford." Nascent erotic musings growing into the familiar container of a hockey scenario, like those japanese watermelons they put into molds so they become cubes

How many actual agent based AI frameworks are out there right now? If I release my own in a couple weeks will it be drowned out by a sea of equally half baked projects? What if mine runs on Kubernetes?
