Public healthcare is not going to survive without public oversight. There's no reason for it. Just that the public that benefits from it isn't allowed to see what goes on under the hood. We're prevented from looking out for our own interests by people who insist they're entitled to do it for us.

when you pick a line of dialog, no matter how inconsequential, you are engaging with the game, the npcs, and the designers. and you don’t feel alone playing a game. you feel like it’s made by people. i think that affect is important to analyze and harness, especially in this age of loneliness.

Even if you aren’t the biggest fan of horror, this a top-tier visual novel with a lovable cast of characters + some genuinely clever, fourth wall breaking design. It’s well worth your time

Xabungle is more grounded than I was expecting I only knew it for being wacky and goofy, and it definitely is don't get me wrong, but it still feels right at home with the other Tomino shows from this period big fan of the pulpy sci-fi setting personally, I love the space western

I beat Hades II a few days ago and now they put out a patch that significantly updates the ending and the story leading up to it. Went in to try it out and learned I have to beat Chronos 8 mores times and Typhon 4 more times. No thanks!

i think framerate and performance are completely legitimate and important things to criticize about a game while simultaneously finding them incredibly boring things to criticize compared to whatever a game is actually *trying* to do
