My biggest question with Star Fox is - as a remake of 64, what's the status of the on-foot mode unlock from Expert Mode? In the OG it was super janky. Have they cut that? And if they haven't, I'm watching to see how it's improved and taking it as a hint of where they might go next game...

There's a huge difference between a reimagining of the same story & a remake of the same game. Star Fox 64 is not the same game as SNES, and Zero is not either. Yeah, 64 will now have been released in various forms 3 times - not 6. Don't be wilfully thick in search of things to cry about

Star Fox 64 is in my top five games of all time, and other than the obvious (Tetris) the package as presented on N64 is as close to perfect as I think something can be, so I really hope this retains that. Also the models are fine imo and definitely evoke the SNES box art puppets
