I'm really interested to see the upcoming LEGO Pokémon sets because the Mario and, to a lesser extent, Animal Crossing sets were both hamstrung by their need to be a bunch of little interchangeable builds instead of solid, deliberate larger builds.

This guy is kind of cool and I don't regret getting him specifically but he's not inciting any urge to pick up other Sentai robots I've passed on in the last five years. He isn't scratching the big blocky combiner-y itch that vintage DX Sentai gives me.

The Super Siegfried mode is such a different animal to the regular form. I really like that it promotes the grey from a tertiary to a secondary colour which makes the whole thing look subtly more military (and, y'know, the missiles)

I have various beefs with this set but the way that 90% of Long Haul winds up as this ass-pack while a piece that's 90% the size of Long Haul and is just a useless lump when they're individual Constructicons makes up the thighs really stinks.
