There are nerds in Japan who go around train stations helping foreigners figure out things. I kinda want to do this for BART where i tell people along the R line to get on O trains and transfer to an SF train at MacArthur since BART keeps this a secret for some reason.

maybe we wouldn't be so upset about cars if they didn't kill and main so many people or pollute the environment and put microplastics in the air and destroy the economics and livability of our cities and put people in poverty over the costs and maintenance!

This is basically what SP wanted to do. They bought parcels along the Embarcadero between 3rd and Townsend and Market and designed 1 Market to be a train terminal. Never happened for unclear reasons to me.

perhaps it's a toxic trait of some kind but aesthetically i love the street layout of milton keynes. just look at it. weird grade separated intersections. perfectly evenly spaced roundabouts on the highway. big medians on everything

Four years ago, SSR was started to make the great highway permanently car-free. Now, sunset dunes is one of SF's most popular parks. Like the embarcadero and central freeway removals, there may be more fights ahead, but we're not going back. 1/3

Love riding BART with so many people this morning. This is the first time since pre-pandemic that there were no seats available when I boarded at El Cerrito Plaza. BART is back! Now letβs pass the 2026 regional funding measure to ensure BART can continue robust transit service.

line 6 finch west begins revenue service demonstration this saturday, the final stretch to opening. this process takes 30 days, meaning you can expect to ride the LRT in the 4th-5th week of october (barring any issues). so, line 6 is now officially ahead of line 5 to open. made that bet in 2022 π

I forget sometimes how genuinely awful and confusing it is to try and take the N from Caltrain 7:30 and 8:10 am on the weekend... You've got owl buses on Townsend, regular and short trains from 4th, and regular trains from King all leaving at the same time
