The BART Sound Tracks Music Festival is back and tickets are on sale now at railgoods.com On October 11, BART, in partnership with @SFJAZZ, will host a one-day music festival featuring some of the Bay Area’s outstanding jazz and R&B talents.

SB 63 is headed to the Governor's desk. It is a historic opportunity to allow voters in 5 counties of the Bay Area to consider a sales tax measure in Nov 2026 to preserve and improve transit. BART, and the entire transit network that keeps the Bay Area moving, stand to benefit from this bill.

Yesterday was our highest ridership day of 2025! 219,918 trips. Up almost 12k from last Wednesday. Happy Transit Month! Traffic is bad. Transit is good.

Ridership data shows the Warm Springs Station had 2,590 exits yesterday (2,071 more than the previous week) due to our anime event. And the Coliseum Station had 9,673 exits (7,334 more than the previous week) for the Mexico vs. Japan soccer game! Thank you for taking BART.

We are sharing more details about what led up to yesterday's service disruption. Read our memo with the very latest details: www.bart.gov/sites/defaul... This will be discussed at our Board of Directors meeting on Thursday at 9am during the General Manager's Report.

Here is what we know related to today’s service disruption: It occurred due to a computer equipment problem following overnight network upgrade work. The work is part of an ongoing multi-year project to replace the communications and computer systems, including hardware such as switches and routers.

UPDATE 11:45am: Regular BART service has resumed throughout the system. All stations are now open. Expect major residual delays systemwide.

UPDATE: Limited East Bay service will start at approximately 9:30am. There is no service to San Francisco.

RIDER ALERT: There’s currently a BART (@bart.gov)outage; County Connection is providing free service (Mutual Aid) for passengers boarding from the following BART stations: North Concord, Concord, Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek, Dubin, Lafayette and Orinda.

A computer equipment problem following network upgrade work is preventing the start of service this morning. Seek alternative means of transportation. bart.gov/alternatives provides options without BART service.
