Nick Benson is an activist with MN50501 who works in commercial flight data analytics. He is one of a handful of people who spend much of their days documenting ICE activity at the airport. Since the beginning of December, Benson has observed more than 1,000 people board ICE flights at MSP.

This is Minneapolis: Walk into my neighborhood ACE last night & see the signage on their door notifying fed agents that it’s private property and cannot be used for immigration enforcement. These signs are all over the city. Walk in & the nearest shelf has goggles & whistles.

A lengthy interview by an excellent local reporter. One of the citizens detained was offered money or legal protection by ICE if he would give them names of undocumented individuals or protest leaders.

He's just straight up rationalizing that it's OK for them to murder people over "hateful rhetoric." "Contempt of cop" is not, in fact, a crime, especially not one that warrants summary execution on the streets.

Something I noticed in watching the video of the Minneapolis shooting of Good: the ICE shooter has his phone in his left hand the whole time. He was filming the scene as he walked around the car--that will be an important piece of evidence to capture.

It appears two ICE observers following ICE agents on 31st in south Minneapolis this morning were arrested. Activists say it appears the ICE observer vehicle was stopped or slid into something, and ICE agents used pepper spray and broke the car window, arresting the occupants.

Absolutely horrific details about an ICE shooting in Minneapolis. A witness says a woman was trying to drive away from an ICE operation and the ICE agent "reached across the hood of the car and shot her in the face like three, four times." Bovino was there.

About 700 Somalis are covered by TPS. To end that status and deny these community members the basic protection they’ve been promised is—like so much of what Trump does—just cruel. It throws people and families into chaos, and is a direct attack on our community.
