ACLU MN reported yesterday that the federal government filed sworn statements that there are 970 agents in Minnesota for Operation Metro Surge & that 407 agents will remain here in March. It’s important to note this is on top of the 190 agents that were already assigned before this surge started.

On the same day that federal officials announced the end of Operation Metro Surge in Minnesota, a nightmare began for a family in the Minneapolis suburb of Columbia Heights​.

Apparently there’s grocery inflation discourse again, but as I’ve been buying groceries for other families during this crisis, often under duress, it’s brought me out of my own optimized grocery spending habits, which rely heavily on Costco. And damn, there is a huge price to pay for being poor.
