I’m honored to receive the endorsement of @mn50501.bsky.social I agree with MN50501: something is deeply broken in our nation. Masked ICE agents are in our streets terrorizing our neighbors, breaking the law, threatening our constitution.

ICE shackled her in a bathroom with two men for days. No space to lay down. Denied due process. Limited medical care. Limited food. One toilet.

ICE just wanted to provoke us. Provocation and escalation is the strategy. Earlier this month, when I was at the Whipple Federal building, 70-80 ICE agents marched out in formation and pushed the peaceful protesters back- even though everyone was already on the sidewalk in the permitted area.

I can’t stop thinking about Liam and his dad. Liam is five years old. Liam was in pre-school. Liam is now sick with a fever in a detention camp in Texas. As a father, I feel sick thinking about how we are treating this five year old and his father.

Today, I knocked on ICE’s door. “ICE is circling the block outside my school,” my friend, a teacher, texted me earlier today. An elementary school.

It’s time for truth: ICE’s sickening lies and slander about Alex Pretti. ICE, Noem, Bovino and Trump want you to ignore what your senses tell you. But you can watch the videos of Alex Pretti’s murder for yourself.

We are in a fight over the very soul of our country. They can pepper spray us, tear gas us, beat us. But no matter what, they won’t touch our souls. We will stand resolute, no matter what they do to us. I know we will win.

Last night we had a great debate - And the Star Tribune had an excellent summary that puts us where we want to be: “Former state Sen. and Lakeville Mayor Matt Little made it clear he’s the progressive Democrat in the race, arguing he's willing to take on the Trump administration and Republicans.”

🗓️TONIGHT ⁠ ⁠ JOIN US TONIGHT at Carleton College, from 6:30-8:00PM, for the Carleton Democrats for the first and only Candidate Debate for our Second Congressional District before precinct caucuses. ⁠

On Friday, I stood with the protestors at the Whipple Building in Minneapolis as a line of 70-80 ICE officers marched at us. In that crowd you could feel the anger and sadness over what ICE has done to the great state of Minnesota.

We have seen enough of ICE to know what the problems are. We have seen enough of ICE to know what flaws in our legal system they are exploiting. We have seen enough of ICE to know what elected officials must do to hold them accountable.
